Effective Distribution Channels

Effective Distribution Channels

The way online shopping and eCommerce are increasing, more choices are needed for marketers to shop. But with all these distribution channels, consumers can get access to all the products and services easily.

1. Direct Sales

The easiest form of distribution channel is through direct sales. The companies or businesses that have stores or outlets of their own can directly sell their products and services through them.

A few of the major advantages of selling services and products through direct sales are.

  • Customer Trust – If companies sell their products or services through their own stores or outlets, it builds a certain amount of trust among the customers. It shows that they have authority in the market and trust in their products.
  • Cost-Effective – Businesses and companies save a lot of money if they seek their products directly without any distributors or third-party sellers. Paying these third-party sellers or distributors is an added expense that companies have to endure.
  • Control over Customer Experience – When you are in control of your stores and outlets, then you can control the working environment and customer experience as well.

2. Retailer

The retailer distribution network is the second most popular way of distribution channels after direct sales. These retailers include department stores, supermarkets, and other specialized stores. Through these distribution retail stores like Walmart or Target, customers can access the stores which are right around the corner.

The major advantages of Retailers are.
